AMP is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible. Donors will receive an annual subscription to Linnea's newsletters which describe clinic activities and life in the Amazon. Donations may be made to AMP, Inc.

AMP's annual operating budget is estimated at $275,000. This includes about $50,000 in donated services and supplies.
AMP operates with grass roots support from Linnea's family and friends, health care professionals, tourists, organizations, foundations, and through the good will of many others. Grants have been provided by the International Foundation, several Rotary chapters, Rotary International, the Jack DeLoss Taylor Trust, the Grand Circle Foundation, and the St. Vincent De Paul Society of Sauk-Prairie.
Volunteer physicians are accepted for one month stays. Individuals must have a valid medical license in their home country and must speak Spanish. Lodging is provided by Explorama Lodge at discount rates. For more information, contact Dr. Smith through AMP.
